How to Delete a Partner as a Distributor on Impossible Cloud Management Console

Detailed steps for deleting a partner safely from the Impossible Cloud Management Console User Interface

Overview:

Deleting a Partner requires the removal of all Storage Accounts and Management Console Users associated with the Partner. This article describes the step-by-step process on how to delete a partner as a distributor in Impossible Cloud Management Console (ICMC).

Prerequisites:

  1. A partner account with Admin role in Impossible Cloud Management Console. This is required in step 1 for deleting the storage accounts.
  2. A distributor account with Admin role in Impossible Cloud Management Console. This is required in step 2 and 3 for deleting the partner and the management console users.

Note: As a distributor, you can either request your partner to perform step 1 or request the permission to create an Admin user to manage your partner.

Step 1: Delete all partner’s storage accounts.

Log in to Impossible cloud using a partner account with Admin role and delete all storage accounts inside the partner account.

Note: Deleting a storage account requires a 30-day mandatory grace period. The grace period will start once the Delete Storage Account button is triggered.

  1. Login to ICMC as a partner 
  2. On the storage accounts menu, delete all storage accounts one-by one.

        3. Click on each storage account. Then, click on the horizontal ellipsis to select Delete Storage Accounts.

 

Step 2: Delete all partner’s Management Console Users.

Log in to Impossible Cloud using the distributor account with Admin role and delete all management console users inside the partner.

  1. Login to ICMC as a distributor
  2. Open the partner you want to delete

3. Click on the management console users tab and delete all partner accounts.

 

Step 3: Delete the Partner.

Once all storage accounts and partner's management console users are removed, proceed to delete the partner using the delete button. Please note that this process cannot be reversed.

 

Tipp: If the delete button is disabled after all partner's management console users are removed, try to refresh the page.
